Mobileye Secures Multi-Million Unit Driver Monitoring System Deal with US Automaker

Mobileye announced a significant new contract with a leading US automaker to integrate its Driver Monitoring System (DMS) into future vehicle models equipped with the Mobileye EyeQ6L system-on-chip. Production is slated to begin in 2027, with an estimated volume of millions of units across multiple vehicle platforms and model years. This expands Mobileye's existing ADAS collaboration with the customer. The Mobileye DMS platform, which includes Driver Monitoring System (DMS) and Occupant Monitoring System (OMS), runs in parallel with ADAS perception algorithms on a single chip, enabling integrated in-cabin and external road perception. This deal follows a previous win for Mobileye DMS and OMS with another global automaker and addresses the automotive industry's trend towards consolidating driver monitoring and safety features onto a single ADAS chip to reduce costs and complexity. The system is designed to meet Euro NCAP 2026 and anticipates future 2029 requirements.
